you harajuku girls..

This weekend I walked in the Pink Elephants show at The Avenue in downtown Nashville. It was part of the Weekend Wonderland Party, so many people were dressed in Alice in Wonderland attire. It made for a magical night. Truly's entire collection was so fun and colorful, and had a Harajuku girl feel to it. My hair and makeup artist also used a Harajuku Lovers perfume ad for inspiration. I look about 14 years old with those pigtails and pink eyeshadow, and yes, that is a pinwheel in my head. The show was a lot of fun, though. There were quite a lot of models walking, which made for crazy energy backstage! Jeremy Todd did a great job at the DJ booth. I can't wait to see the rest of the photos!

re-form

Last Saturday I walked in a show for Aria Cavaliere of Parlour Vintage Clothing. The show was called “Re-Form” and was held in Aria’s sister’s new art gallery. There were some interesing pieces, for sure! The art reception started around 6pm with the fashion show starting around 7pm. The fashion show had an old hollywood, glamorous theme. Aria put some great looks together with designer vintage finds. One of my favorite looks was a semi-sheer black Dior body suit with rose pink silk shorts. I also completely love the look I wore consisting of a bra and leather skirt! Hot hot hot!
